Work and Spirituality in Everyday Life

Too many people choose their work in terms of money instead of by what qualities and interests they have. With this choice they treat work as a burden and a chore. This choice results in mental and physical weakness with no time for self. When people chase money instead of passion, they don't consider the consequences it will have in all areas of life. People think money is the root of happiness but in reality they would be so much happier doing work that brings joy and purpose to their life for less money. People choose to work for big companies for a lot of money because they have no trust for self. They want security but wasting life in this way is no real security, investing in the self is real security.
